A Reliable Voting Machine

To the Editor:

 

Yes, it is as you say (''Who Tests Voting Machines?,'' editorial, ''Making Votes Count'' series, May 30). A country that was once a shining example for the world to follow in democracy can't be trusted to make a reliable voting machine.

 

We have sent people to the Moon. Why can't we build a voting machine that meets basic standards and is reliable?
