I am writing to you to protest your support of DRE's.

The paper trail generated by a DRE is NOT a ballot, but rather a record that will only be used for spot checks. These spot checks will in no way guarantee that the DRE computer works accurately. Your claims thus are misleading.

Furthermore, it is misleading to claim that the DRE's will be easier for disabled voters to use.

You should support voting equipment that voters understand and can directly observe - paper ballots read by optical scanner, in which the voter has full control over his vote throughout the process.
